What is Therese Custom Designs jewelry made of?

Therese Custom Designs pieces are hand-made in the U.S.A. Personally selected materials of 14kt gold, sterling silver, precious and semi-precious gemstones are used to create the canvas for my creations.

Does the jewelry come with a box?

Yes. Each item comes in a Therese Custom Designs signature box.

Is the full collection available online?

Are the pictures to scale?

No. We do our best to give the best representation of the real size of the item as we can, but it is not necessarily to scale. Should you need any further information regarding the size of a particular piece please contact us and we will gladly answer your questions.

Do the colors shown represent the actual color of the product?

Please note that the color of the items may vary slightly due to photography and the resolution of your own computer monitor and/or your printer output. Each piece is handmade, unique from one another and therefore cannot be duplicated exactly.

Are the sizes exact?

Since all pieces are handmade, sizes are approximate and vary slightly.

Item availability?

Orders are processed as they are received. We pride ourselves on our quick turnaround, but we want to manage your expectations so you are not disappointed. In-stock items will ship within 2 days from when your order is received. If your item is not in stock, as each piece is handmade, additional time may be needed to acquire materials and create your special piece. Should you need it by a specific date please contact us and we will do our very best to make it happen. Additional fees may apply.

What Sales Tax do you charge?

Sales tax on online purchases is charged at the current CT tax rate 6.35%

REPAIRS

What is your repair policy?

Therese Custom Designs will repair any item purchased through theresecustomdesigns.com. We may not be able to repair older pieces if components needed for the repair are unavailable.

What is the cost of a repair? How long does it take?

Repairs costs will be determined on a case by case basis depending on the nature of the repair. Therese Custom Designs will contact you with a quote before proceeding with the repair. Repairs are processed within 4-10 weeks from the date when they are received. It is the customer’s responsibility to ship the piece back to Therese Custom Designs at their own cost. Therese Custom Designs will ship the repair back to you at its own cost. Therese Custom Designs is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.

How do I care for my Therese Custom Designs jewelry?

Therese Custom Designs jewelry is made with 14kt gold, sterling silver, precious and semi-precious gemstones. Please take care wearing your jewelry and try to avoid contact with perfume and lotions so you can enjoy it for a very long time. We recommend cleaning Therese Custom Design jewelry with a polishing cloth. Most of the stones we use are natural gemstones therefore they may vary in shape, size and color. Inclusions can be seen in natural gemstones and is part of their beauty. Please be aware that most gemstones do not stand the force of cleaning agents, polishing cloths or ultrasonic cleaners.
